City ignores potholes and sewage in Olympia

Residents have been complaining about extensive road damage on Wika Drive in Olympia, directly behind Nampol College for months. "Since the recent heavy rains, the road has developed huge potholes at the dip, which are getting worse daily due to the constant infiltration of sewage from the Nampol side," angry residents said. "The rotting water is a health hazard for pedestrians, residents, and visitors." The busy road is almost impassable due to the huge potholes. "We have reported this to the municipality and the roads department several times, but to no avail. It's been more than two months, and we urgently need help." Photos contributed
