City intersection still closed

Some residents are amazed at the energy the City of Windhoek displays when it organises public entertainment events like the /Ae //Gams Arts and Culture Festival that took place over the weekend. However, when traffic lights break down, it takes weeks to repair and the same seems to be true for potholes or major burst pipes. Dr. AB May Street, which runs from Independence Avenue near Dr. António Agostinho Neto Square (Ausspannplatz) up to Delta Primary School Windhoek and on to Robert Mugabe Avenue, has been closed for a week with no proper signage or indication that this important traffic intersection will receive the attention it deserves.
