Extensions of Sandwich Street coming
In a public notice, the City of Windhoek shared a notification of the construction of the extension to Sandwich Street in Kleine Kuppe.This extension is required to provide access to residential erven.
While no lane closures will occur during the construction period, the road will be closed at the point where the extension starts. Temporary traffic signs will be erected to warn motorists of the construction works.
The entering of vehicles into areas of traffic in that area will be controlled and indicated by flagmen/flagwomen. Motorists need to be cautious on this section of road and should adhere to the temporary traffic signs which will be put up during construction.
Construction is set to continue until 16 July 2023.
