Road works at Brakwater intersection begin

Road works for the construction of an intersection on the Brakwater service road and the Brakwater south road are scheduled to start today.
The construction of the intersection is necessary to provide access to Windhoek Livestock Auctioneers’ auction pens. While no lane closure will occur during the construction period, temporary traffic signs have been erected to warn motorists of the construction works next to the road.
The entry of vehicles in that area will be controlled and indicated by flagmen and flagwomen.
Motorists are urged to be cautious at this section of the road and should adhere to the temporary traffic signage which will be put up during construction.
Work is scheduled to continue until 26 June 2023.
