At the end of last week, Stefan Pape published a breathtaking photo on his Facebook page, which was taken during a dive by the Scapehanders diving club in the Dragon's Breath Cave, or rather in the underground lake. "New depth record in the Dragon's Breath Cave in Namibia. The #scapehander team dived to -155 meters in a nine-hour dive and during a five-day expedition. The divers were Tom Baier, Markus Schuster, Ralf Wupper, Stefan Gries, Alan Calovs, Stefan Pape, Oliver Schöll, Chris Steenkamp and many thanks to Loki for the professional service on the rope," Pape wrote. Dragon's Breath is located on farm Ghaub in the karst region (Otavi Mountains) of Namibia. It is home to the largest known underground lake in the world.
