Pupkewitz Toyota & CITW support desert-adapted black rhino rangers
In November 2025, Pupkewitz Toyota hosted a unique 12-hour night race around their dealership, bringing together the community to raise funds and awareness for one of Namibia's most endangered species the desert-adapted black rhino.
In partnership with Wilderness and Children in the Wilderness (CITW), the initiative successfully raised funds to support the dedicated rhino rangers and trackers who work tirelessly, often under challenging conditions, to protect these iconic animals from the threat of poaching.
Pupkewitz Toyota, Wilderness, and Children in the Wilderness (CITW) were proud to partner in the donation of essential equipment valued at N$40 000 to rangers from the Torra, Sesfontein, and Anabeb Conservancies. The equipment will help strengthen their capacity to carry out critical conservation work safely, effectively, and sustainably in the landscapes they help protect.
This initiative demonstrates the impact that can be achieved when the private sector, conservation organisations, and local communities unite behind a shared purpose. By working together, they are helping to safeguard Namibia's unique natural heritage and ensuring that future generations can continue to experience the country's remarkable wildlife.
