ACDC Express opens first Namibian store
Electrical retailer ACDC Express has opened its first store in Namibia on Friday, expanding its presence into the local market after 30 years of doing business in the country. The store, located at 12 Diesel Street in Windhoek’s Southern Industrial Area, brings the company’s “Everything electrical” offering to homeowners, electricians, contractors and businesses.
Its product range includes lighting, tools, solar equipment and other electrical essentials for household use, professional installations and larger projects. Chief executive Mario Maio said the company had decided to strengthen its longstanding relationship with Namibia through direct investment in the market. “Establishing our first ACDC Express store across the border brings us closer to our customers, enabling us to offer a broader product range, improved access to stock and the expert knowledge and service they have come to expect from our business,” Maio said.
The company said it aims to build lasting relationships with local customers and businesses while establishing its presence in the Namibian market.
