Botanical garden in full bloom after good rain

Svenja Hecht
If you drive through the centre of the city on Sam Nujoma Drive, you will pass a large area that does not look like anything at all. But at a second glance, you'll notice Namibia's national botanic garden. This is a centre for biodiversity protection in Namibia as well as a learning and experience centre. To experience it yourself, join the Botanic Society of Namibia on a guided walk through the garden on 10 May. It starts at 08:30 and ends at 10:45. The botanic garden is situated at 8 Orban Street opposite the WHS sports fields. Entrance is N$30 and free for members and children under 16.
