Klein Aub learners benefits from fish drive
Klein Aub Primary School was recently visited by the Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust as part of its national fish consumption promotion drive. The Trust has identified eight schools across the country to take part in the initiative. Its first outreach took place earlier this week in the Hardap Region at Mutshuana Primary School in Gochas.
As part of the programme, the Trust donated stationery and tins of fish to the school. A total of N$78,000 has been allocated to benefit the eight selected schools across the //Kharas, Hardap, Omaheke, and Kunene regions. Cooking demonstrations were also held for both learners and teachers, equipping them with practical fish preparation skills while promoting the nutritional value of fish. Similar sessions are set to take place at Klein Aub Primary School tomorrow in the Hardap Region, marking the conclusion of the Trust’s awareness drive in the region.
