Living Earth Expo 2026 invites exhibitors to showcase practical solutions for healthy living
The Living Earth Expo 2026 is set to take place on 17 and 18 April 2026 at Dagbreek School in Windhoek, bringing together producers, practitioners, organisations and businesses committed to promoting sustainable and resilient living. Positioned as a community-centred and practical festival, the Expo focuses on demonstrating real-life solutions across key areas such as food, water, energy, shelter and community. This year’s theme, “Healthy Living. Healthy Food. For All.”, has been strategically chosen to attract broader public interest while still embracing the full spectrum of sustainability topics.
Organisers say the emphasis on health and food serves as an accessible entry point for visitors, encouraging deeper engagement with wider issues such as renewable energy, conservation, housing and education once they are on site. The 2026 edition has been redesigned to enhance interaction and engagement. Unlike previous years, the Expo will feature a single, centralised experience with a circular exhibitor layout to ensure consistent foot traffic. There will be fewer formal talks, allowing more time for meaningful conversations between exhibitors and visitors.
The event is expected to attract around 900 visitors, including families, farmers, health practitioners, educators and environmentally conscious citizens. The focus, organisers note, is on quality interaction rather than high visitor numbers. A wide range of exhibitors is encouraged to participate, from organic food producers and wellness practitioners to solar energy providers, water system specialists, educators and community organisations. Businesses involved in sustainable housing, mobility, agriculture, and locally made products are also invited to take part. Several exhibitor options are available, ranging from small market stalls priced at N$300 to premium and keystone packages offering greater visibility and marketing benefits. Food stalls will also be featured, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and minimal plastic use.
The programme includes a schools-focused session and marketplace bazaar on Friday afternoon, followed by a meet-and-greet sundowner in the evening. Activities continue on Saturday with entertainment and a full marketplace experience, all centred around a large communal tent and shared food area. Exhibitor spaces are limited and allocated on a first-paid basis. Early registration, with payment due by 21 March 2026, offers benefits such as priority stand placement, additional entry tickets and promotional opportunities. Standard bookings close on 3 April, with the final deadline set for 10 April 2026. Organisers have emphasised that only fully paid exhibitors will be confirmed in the final layout, ensuring fair planning and smooth execution of the event.
The Living Earth Expo 2026 aims to create an accessible, engaging and solutions-driven environment where individuals and organisations can connect, share knowledge and contribute to building a healthier and more resilient future.
