Last Saturday, the City of Windhoek's Mayoral Clean-Up Campaign brought together residents, community leaders and volunteers to clean Babylon, Kilimanjaro and surrounding areas. The initiative once again demonstrated the power of collective action in creating cleaner, healthier and more beautiful communities.

Speaking during the campaign, Windhoek Mayor, Sakarias Uunona, said the platform has grown beyond being merely a clean-up exercise and has become an important avenue for engagement, allowing the City to interact directly with residents, listen to their concerns and work collaboratively towards solutions.

He thanked everyone who participated and contributed to making a difference, adding that together they are building a cleaner Windhoek for all under the slogan: "Go Green, Skip the Plastic."
