Old Mutual Namibia has confirmed its sponsorship of the NamFitness Expo & Conference 2026, a national health and wellness platform focused on physical, mental, financial fitness and overall well-being. The NamFitness Expo & Conference brings together industry leaders, wellness professionals, brands and the wider public to promote healthier lifestyles, education and innovation in Namibia. The event will take place at the Windhoek Country Club & Resort, creating a central space for engagement, learning and wellness-focused programming. Old Mutual Namibia has come on board as an Economy Category sponsor, contributing N$25 000 towards the delivery of the Expo. Commenting on the sponsorship, Mignon du Preez, Old Mutual Namibia’s Group Marketing, Public Affairs and Sustainability Executive, said Old Mutual Namibia’s involvement reflects its broader commitment to encouraging healthier and more financially confident communities.

“Wellness is about more than just physical health; it also includes mental resilience and financial well-being. Platforms such as the NamFitness Expo create important opportunities to raise awareness, share knowledge and support Namibians in making practical, positive lifestyle choices,” said Du Preez. Founder and Executive Director of the NamFitness Expo & Conference, Osho Shipoh, welcomed Old Mutual Namibia’s support, highlighting the importance of partnerships in strengthening national wellness initiatives. “In Namibia everyone has a right to fitness, a right to stay healthy, a right to having good mental health and a right to financial literacy. It is thus with this year’s first expo and conference we’re theming it “Activate Namibia’s Wellness.” This event is not just about which products and services are in the fitness industry, it’s really the coming together of industry leaders and Namibians who aspire to healthier lifestyles. To collaborate, inspire and engage in meaningful conversation that will help further activate a healthier Namibia,” said Shipoh. The NamFitness Expo & Conference aligns with national wellness priorities by creating accessible spaces where individuals can engage with information and tools that support balanced living. Through its sponsorship, Old Mutual Namibia aims to contribute meaningfully to conversations around wellbeing, prevention and long‑term personal sustainability. The organisers of the NamFitness Expo & Conference have welcomed Old Mutual Namibia’s participation, noting that corporate support plays a critical role in strengthening the impact and reach of such platforms.
