Old Mutual Wealth invests in women in law with N$25 000 sponsorship
Old Mutual Wealth supported the third annual Women’s Gathering with a sponsorship of N$25 000. Organised by the Law Society of Namibia and held at Droombos in Windhoek, the event took place under the theme “Her Voice. Her Legacy. Generations of Women. Shaping Justice Together.” It brought together women from across Namibia’s legal profession to network, learn from one another and mentor future generations of women.
The Women’s Gathering offers women lawyers, including legal practitioners, judges, in-house legal counsel, prosecutors, academics, candidate legal practitioners and legal support practitioners, an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue on leadership, mentorship, well-being, career development and the future of the legal profession.
“At Old Mutual Wealth, we firmly believe that empowering women and strengthening leadership create sustainable benefits not only for individuals, but also for organisations, professions and society as a whole. The Women’s Gathering aligns with our commitment to creating opportunities for women to connect, learn from one another and build the confidence needed to help shape the future. It is an honour for us to support this initiative,” said Veruscka Gertze, Wealth Manager at Old Mutual Namibia.
The sponsorship forms part of Old Mutual Wealth’s broader support for initiatives that promote personal development, professional growth and long-term sustainability in Namibia. Through such partnerships, the business continues to advance women in leadership and contribute to a more inclusive professional environment.
Mentorship, shared learning, leadership development and financial wellness are central to the gathering and complement Old Mutual Wealth’s commitment to financial education, empowerment and well-being.
Through its support of the Women’s Gathering, Old Mutual Wealth reinforces its commitment to strengthening leadership, supporting resilient institutions and contributing to a better Namibia.
