RMB Namibia appoints Tim Von Hase
RMB Namibia has appointed Tim von Hase as Head of Trade and Treasury Solutions, effective 1 May 2026, strengthening the bank's ability to support businesses with integrated trade, cash management and treasury solutions. The appointment comes as businesses place greater emphasis on managing liquidity, improving
working capital and navigating increasingly connected local and international supply chains. It also reflects RMB Namibia's continued focus on building the specialist expertise clients need to operate and grow in a changing business environment.
Von Hase joins RMB Namibia from FNB Namibia, where he served as Retail Credit Head, leading the Retail Credit sanctioning and collections teams responsible for approximately half of the bank's balance sheet. He brings more than a decade of experience across banking, consulting and industry, with expertise spanning credit, lending, business transformation and operational improvement. His earlier roles at WesBank, FirstRand Namibia, Lithon Project Consultants, Barloworld Power and IQ Business have given him a broad understanding of the operational and financial challenges businesses face at every stage of their growth.
Von Hase holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University and has completed several professional qualifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Agile Project Management. He is recognised for his analytical approach, collaborative leadership style and ability to build high-performing teams.
RMB Namibia Chief Executive Officer Daniel Motinga said the appointment reflects the bank's focus on helping clients manage one of the most important aspects of any successful business: the effective movement of money. "Trade and Treasury Solutions sits at the centre of how businesses operate every day. Whether clients are managing cash flow, funding growth or trading across borders, they need practical solutions backed by people who understand both finance and business. Tim brings that combination of commercial insight, operational discipline and leadership. His experience will strengthen our ability to help clients manage complexity and seize opportunities with confidence."
According to von Hase, "businesses want financial partners who understand the realities of running and growing an organisation. My focus will be on working closely with our clients to deliver practical solutions that improve efficiency, support better decision-making and give businesses the flexibility to pursue new opportunities." RMB Namibia continues to invest in specialist expertise across its Corporate and Investment
Banking business, helping clients respond to changing business conditions while supporting long-term economic growth in Namibia.
