Temporary closure of Suiderhof Recreational Park
The City of Windhoek has announced the temporary closure of the Southern Entrance Recreational Park in Suiderhof, located at the corner of Auas Road and Mandume Ndemufayo Avenue, effective 7 September 2026.
The closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing road upgrading works along Auas Road. Members of the public are urged to stay away from the park until construction works have been completed and the park is officially reopened.
The City of Windhoek has apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation.
