Windhoek residents back Grysblok clean-up
The City of Windhoek successfully hosted a Mayoral Clean-Up Campaign on Saturday in Grysblok, within the John Pandeni Constituency, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote cleanliness, environmental responsibility and community pride across the capital. The campaign drew strong participation from local residents, creating an energetic and unified atmosphere on the ground. Community members came out in numbers, demonstrating a shared commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy living environment.
Councillor Mathew Shoongo praised the residents for their dedication and active involvement, noting that such initiatives highlight the power of collective action. He encouraged the community to sustain the momentum beyond the campaign, emphasising that cleanliness is a shared responsibility. “This level of participation is truly inspiring.
