Windhoek Rural families receive winter blanket donation

Vulnerable households in the Windhoek Rural Constituency have received much-needed support to help them cope with the winter cold. Windhoek Rural Constituency Councillor Willem Gariseb recently handed over 83 winter blankets to vulnerable households and the Braungardsbrun School Hostel as part of the Khomas Regional Council's winter relief programme.
A total of 33 blankets were distributed to the Kaapsfarm community, 30 to elderly residents in Braungardsbrun, and 20 to the Braungardsbrun School Hostel. The initiative forms part of the Khomas Regional Council's ongoing efforts to provide relief, dignity and support to vulnerable residents during the winter season.
