ABC opens crypto-for-shares subscription on NSX

STAFF REPORTER
Africa Bitcoin Corporation (ABC) - Africa’s first publicly listed Bitcoin treasury company - has introduced a pioneering way for Namibian investors to participate in its Namibian Stock Exchange
(NSX) share offer: by swapping cryptocurrency directly for ABC shares.

This historic development marks the first time in Namibian capital markets that investors can use Bitcoin or select cryptocurrencies to subscribe for listed shares - creating a regulated bridge between digital assets and traditional equity markets.

The NSX Share Offer is open from 2 to 23 October 2025 at an offer price of N$11.00 per share, and is available to both institutional and individual investors.

How to Participate

Investors can take part in one of three ways:
1. Through Cirrus Capital (NSX Sponsor) – Contact [email protected] for subscription
assistance, guidance, and verification of crypto-based applications.
2. Via Licensed NSX Stockbrokers – Investors may subscribe through any registered Namibian
Stock Exchange broker for direct share purchases.
3. By Swapping Crypto for Shares –
o Bitcoin (BTC) accepted at 100% of its spot market value at the time of transfer.
o Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), and USD stablecoins (USDT, USDC)
accepted at 95% of spot value, accounting for conversion costs.
o All crypto received is converted to Bitcoin, ensuring that ABC’s Bitcoin-only treasury
strategy remains consistent and transparent.
This initiative aligns with ABC’s mission to make Bitcoin a strategic reserve asset for Africa, enabling investors to gain Bitcoin exposure through a regulated, publicly listed company without the need to directly hold or manage cryptocurrency.

“This initiative is about accessibility and innovation,” says Warren Wheatley, CEO of Africa Bitcoin Corporation. “We’re giving investors a compliant, transparent gateway to Bitcoin’s long-term growth through the NSX. Namibia continues to lead the continent in progressive financial innovation.”

With its dual listings on the NSX (BAN) and JSE AltX (BAC), ABC offers investors across Southern Africa the opportunity to participate in Africa’s Bitcoin future through regulated markets that blend innovation with investor protection. Africa Bitcoin Corporation and Cirrus Capital wish to thank Namibian media for their past support and coverage. We once again invite your partnership in sharing this next milestone — one that positions Namibia at the forefront of digital asset integration into traditional finance.
