Azule taps Rachel Msiska for Namibia leadership
Azule Energy has appointed Rachel Msiska as Deputy General Manager for its Namibia operations, strengthening its leadership team as the company advances its long-term plans in the country.
Msiska brings more than 12 years of experience in the energy and petroleum sector, spanning public and government affairs, stakeholder engagement, corporate governance and community investment.
She is the founder and chairperson of Women in Oil, Gas & Energy Network Namibia (WOGEN). Before joining Azule Energy, she served as Deputy General Manager and Public & Government Affairs Manager at ExxonMobil Namibia, and held leadership roles at the Namibia Petroleum Operators Association (NAMPOA) and NAMCOR.
Based in Windhoek, Msiska will work alongside Country General Manager Giovanni Aquilina to strengthen the company's stakeholder relationships and presence in Namibia.
"Her experience, leadership and deep understanding of the sector will be invaluable as we continue building strong partnerships across the country," Aquilina said.
