Cheers, applause and plenty of emotion filled the air in Gobabis on Saturday evening as Charene Labuschagne was crowned Miss Namibia 2026, taking over the title from outgoing queen Johanna Swartbooi.

Labuschagne emerged victorious after an evening that celebrated not only beauty, but also confidence, leadership and community impact. Rechelle Hamases was named first princess and Miss Photogenic, while Albertina Haimbala was crowned second princess. Other awards went to Loide Nguulondo as Miss Personality, while Constancia Kamburona was the favourite amongst the public.

As the new Miss Namibia, Labuschagne walked away with an impressive prize package that includes a house, a vehicle and several other sponsored prizes. Over the coming year, she will also represent Namibia on international stages while championing social development initiatives at home.

Held at Die Dam Resort, the glittering finale attracted contestants, supporters, sponsors and dignitaries from across the country, making it a celebration of talent, ambition and the next chapter of Miss Namibia.
