CTM Windhoek unveiled its newly refurbished store on Thursday, 29 October 2026, as the retailer seeks to strengthen customer relationships, improve service delivery and expand its presence in the local market.

The event brought together CTM representatives, suppliers, business partners and customers to mark the completion of the refurbishment and celebrate the store's refreshed appearance.

Speaking at the event, regional manager Robbie Schneider said the transformation went beyond improving the store's appearance, highlighting the importance of trust, relationships and collaboration in building a successful business.

He said every interaction with a customer presented an opportunity to establish and strengthen relationships. “Every client that enters through us is an opportunity to build a relationship. Every question is an opportunity to help and every challenge is an opportunity to prove that we are the right partner,” he said.

Schneider said the company wanted customers to feel valued and recognised whenever they visited the store. He added that CTM aimed to grow, improve and innovate while strengthening its position in the market, but achieving these goals would require commitment, consistency and teamwork.

Quality service

He said customer loyalty had to be earned through quality service and strong relationships rather than taken for granted. “We cannot simply expect customers to choose us. We have to give them a reason to choose us. We have to build trust, loyalty and earn it every day,” he said.

Schneider said CTM wanted to position itself as more than a retail outlet selling products, but as a business that customers would recommend and choose to work with.

“We don't want to be a shop where people come to buy. We want to be a business that customers recommend and want to work with. A business that grows together with customers and partners,” he said.

He also acknowledged the contribution of the CTM management team, suppliers and business partners to the refurbishment, thanking everyone who had helped bring the project to completion.

However, Schneider said customers remained at the centre of the business, describing their trust and support as key motivators for continued improvement and growth. “Your trust in us motivates us to do better. Your support motivates us to grow. And your success is the sign that it is doing us good,” he said.

He encouraged guests to view the unveiling as the beginning of a broader effort to strengthen relationships with customers and business partners while pursuing shared growth.
