The University of Namibia (Unam) hosted its Graduate Art Showcase from 19 to 21 November.
The event, held at the National Art Gallery of Namibia, opened with six visual arts students presenting their striking and captivating works. The showcase aims to celebrate and exhibit the final-year students’ artwork to the public.
The exhibition features a diverse range of art pieces, reflecting the graduating students’ varied themes, techniques and personal experiences.
Unam's performing arts lecturer Mushaandja Nashilongweshipwe delivered the welcoming remarks at the opening ceremony. In his address, he encouraged the students to remain prayerful, have faith and to "believe in themselves as they continue to develop their artistic careers".
