Metropolitan Namibia donated a multifunction printer worth more than N$50 000 to C. //Oaseb Senior Secondary School in Gibeon, Hardap Region, at a handover on Tuesday, 30 June 2026. Joachim van Schalkwyk, Metropolitan’s central regional manager, presented the equipment.

The donation follows the school’s request after its previous duplicating machine became unreliable, hindering production of learning materials and daily administration. The new printer will serve more than 670 learners and reduce administrative burden on staff.

“Education is one of the most meaningful investments we can make,” van Schalkwyk said. “By providing this printer, we hope to improve the school’s learning environment and support teachers and learners.”

School principal Desmond //Kheibeb accepted the donation and thanked Metropolitan, saying the new equipment will help teachers produce materials more reliably and improve access to resources for learners.

The donation is part of Metropolitan Namibia’s community-support activities.
