Standard Bank Namibia appoints Elzita Beukes as marketing executive

Standard Bank Namibia has appointed Elzita Beukes as Executive: Marketing and Branding, effective 01 July 2026. The appointment reflects the bank’s ongoing focus on strengthening its brand, customer engagement, and market presence.

Beukes brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, and reputation management across the banking, corporate, and development sectors. Her work has centred on developing integrated marketing and communication strategies, supporting executive positioning, and building stakeholder trust.

She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Innovation from the London School of Marketing, a Bachelor of Journalism from Rhodes University, and a postgraduate qualification in International Cooperation from the United Nations University in Tokyo.

Beukes is promoted from her current role as Senior Manager: Public Relations and Communication, where she has contributed to enhancing the bank’s communications and brand positioning. In her new role, she will serve on the executive committee and will be responsible for leading the bank’s marketing and branding strategy.

Commenting on her appointment, Beukes said: “I am honoured to take on this role at a time when the banking sector is evolving rapidly. I look forward to working with the team to strengthen how we connect with our clients and to support the bank’s growth priorities.”
