The Roast of Jericho brings the laughs
It was a night of jokes, laughter and a few uncomfortable truths at Savannah Comedy Hour’s The Roast of Jericho, held at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre last Thursday, 22 October 2026.
The show featured comedians and roast masters Wilbard, Courage the Comedian, Slick and Axarob as the host, who took turns putting Jericho and each other in the hot seat.
While Jericho may have been the main target, the audience quickly learnt that nobody was safe. A few crowd members found themselves caught in the crossfire, reminding everyone that at a roast the crowd is not always just there to watch.
Ousie Ebs also joined the panel and added to the night’s entertainment with all of our favourite wig and makeup style. Some familiar faces spotted enjoying the night were Dillish Mathews, Dixon and Kevo Maro. And let's just say they were not safe from a roast or two either.
The Roast of Jericho was an night to remember. And anyone who attended knows that you have to be able to laugh a little, even when the joke is on you!
