The Yesterdaye celebrates live music

Namibian band The Yesterdaye returned to the stage on Saturday with the fifth edition of The Yesterdaye Experience, titled I’m Alive.

The concert took place at Mopane Hall at the Windhoek Showgrounds and formed part of the band’s ongoing live performance series.

The Yesterdaye has become a familiar name on Namibia’s live music scene through performances at events and venues across the capital. The band has previously appeared at events such as the Windhoek Jazz Festival and alongside several established Namibian musicians.

With I’m Alive, the group once again created a space centred on its own music and live performance, adding another chapter to its growing presence in Namibia’s live entertainment scene. Attendees were seen dancing and connecting through the music throughout the evening, while the venue was bathed in a bright red glow that added to the atmosphere. All photos Christine Nelumbu
