Driving dynamics

The Q5 ‘Advanced’ model features standard equipment, including 19-inch wheels designed in the characteristic five-arm wing style, and fitted with 235/55 R19 tyres. Anti-theft wheel bolts ensure your good looking rims remain where you left them.
In case of a flat tyre, the collapsible spare in the boot is easily inflated with the compressor supplied, while temporarily deflating tyres to deal with soft beach sand is also child’s play with such thoughtful accessories.
The LED headlamp washer system keeps the rear combination lamps spotless to accentuate the body-coloured exterior housing for the power adjustable and heated mirrors.
Style and function
Aluminium roof rails with roof rack detection systems illustrate the marriage between style and function that is the Q5. The scuff plates have aluminum inserts to complete the high-gloss styling package, while the luggage compartment lid can open and close electronically.
Other interior amenities include three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming frameless interior rear view mirror, electrically-activated child lock and the expansive sunroof featuring an all-the-way retractable visor, while the transparent cover only opens half way to keep kids in the back seat safe.
Isofix child seat anchors are mounted to the front passenger seat and the rear seats while the top tether for the outer rear seats can be deactivated from a switch in the front.
The driver and front passenger airbags can also be deactivated when they are not needed to supplement the curtain and side airbags built into the automobile.
