Over the past few weeks, Concordia was alive with excitement as learners showcased their talents across sports, culture and academics.
In the lead-up to Independence Day, the school hosted u/15 soccer trials. The soccer team, led by Mr. Kalya and representing the Owambo tribe, impressed with their determination and teamwork. The netball girls also gave it their all during friendly matches against other schools, bringing energy and school spirit to every game. The Ovaherero tribe amazed the audience with their powerful performance of the Ondeleera traditional dance, which received enthusiastic applause.

The dance group, guided by Ms. Moers, took their performance to the next level with polished choreography and creative flair. Their Independence Day showcase was a crowd favourite, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

In academics, Concordia hosted an interschool debate against Hage Geingob High School. Our senior team won the debate on the “Sunset Clause”, while the junior team debated “The Rise of Therapy,” narrowly losing to Hage. Both teams displayed great confidence and preparation.

These events highlight the incredible talent and dedication of Concordia learners, making the past few weeks truly memorable for the entire school community.
