Donations sought to ensure every learner walks in comfort

Green Leaves Primary School in Okahandja Park is reaching out to the local community for support for a noble initiative to secure school shoes, socks and school uniform for approximately 150 learners in need. The school wants to ensure that every learner has access to essential footwear and school wear, promoting a comfortable learning environment.
Facing economic challenges and acknowledging the financial strain on some families, the school is calling upon local businesses, community members and organisations to contribute to this meaningful cause.
A teacher at the school emphasised the importance of ensuring that every learner has the necessary resources for a successful educational journey. "Our focus is not only on academic excellence, but also on the overall well-being of our learners. We believe that having proper school shoes, school uniform and socks is a fundamental part of a positive and comfortable learning experience".
Individuals or businesses interested in contributing are encouraged to drop off new or gently used school shoes, school uniform and socks at the school. The teacher expressed gratitude in advance for the anticipated community support.
"Your contributions, whether big or small, will make a significant difference in the lives of these learners."
