Young entrepreneurs shine at ISWB

The primary learners of the International School of Walvis Bay recently proved that age is no barrier to business when they hosted their very own Entrepreneurship Day. The school grounds were transformed into a lively marketplace, buzzing with excitement and creativity.

From delicious bake sales to sizzling food stalls, the children showcased their flair for both cooking and customer service. Sweet treats and savoury delights were on offer, drawing in parents, teachers and fellow students alike. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere were game booths, where playful competition brought laughter and joy throughout the day.

In a nod to sustainability, several learners proudly presented plant sales, offering everything from herbs to flowers, proving that even the youngest entrepreneurs understand the value of green living.

The event wasn’t just about fun; it was about building confidence, teamwork and a spirit of innovation. By planning, budgeting and marketing their own stalls, the children gained a taste of the real business world in a safe, supportive environment.

Entrepreneurship Day at ISWB was more than just a school activity; it was a celebration of creativity, responsibility and community spirit. Judging by the smiles (and the empty plates), it was a resounding success.
