NCCI appoints Yvonne Amukwaya business manager
The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) has appointed Yvonne Amukwaya as a business manager to the CEO’s office, effective 2 June.In a statement, the NCCI said Amukwaya will support the chief executive and executive leadership team, playing a vital role in the chamber’s operations and strategic initiatives.
Amukwaya brings over a decade of experience in executive support, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement. Her expertise spans sectors such as development finance, national leadership and media.
She previously served in multiple roles at State House, including as personal assistant to former president Hage Geingob and public relations officer.
In these positions, Amukwaya managed executive briefings, national consultations and crisis communications in addition to coordinating international summits, diplomatic travel and media engagement at the highest levels.
Prior to her appointment, she worked at the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) as executive assistant to the CEO and coordinator for business strategic insight. Her work combined strategic planning, stakeholder alignment and communications.
Commenting on the appointment, NCCI CEO Titus Nampala said: “We are delighted to welcome Ms Yvonne Amukwaya to NCCI. Her depth of insight and extensive experience will be invaluable in unlocking the chamber’s full potential as a national asset.”
