Olivia Jesaya started a business named Liv Organic Cosmetics, a cosmetics and beauty brand.
Jesaya was motivated by her upbringing to be an entrepreneur; she was born to entrepreneurs. As a child, Jesaya always had aspirations to become an entrepreneur, even before she knew that word existed.

She would sell her creations to family and friends and create fairs and curiosities, charging people to see them.

"This motivated me to find freedom and flexibility; what I mean by this is that having your own business means you can be your own boss and set your own hours, so you can better balance your other commitments, like family time and social life," said Jesaya.

Another reason she started her business is to supercharge her personal growth.

"Having a business is the perfect opportunity to gain confidence and upskill yourself in a whole range of areas," said Jesaya.

"As a business owner, I have to wear many hats, from marketing, research and development, compliance, graphic designer and customer service, to name a few."

Product range

Among Liv Organic Cosmetics’ product range is a shampoo that gets rid of dirt, oil, and product build-up.

"To avoid drying out your ends, you should concentrate the shampoo on your scalp only," advised Jesaya.

The company also sells a conditioner that helps replenish hair moisture.

Products also include a deep-cleansing face wash and face moisturiser that helps to get rid of unwanted build-up of oils, toxins, dirt, bacteria, and all skin cell debris, all of which contribute to unwanted skin conditions like acne and premature aging.

In addition, Liv Organic Cosmetics sells a face moisturiser cream to prevent dryness.

It also slows the signs of aging, helps fight acne, offers protection from the sun, and soothes sensitive skin.

Additional products include:
1. A SPF 35 sunscreen to protect the skin against the damage caused by UVA and UVB rays. The sunscreen protects the skin from free radicals and early signs of aging. Sebum and melanin functions to retain a smooth, clear tone and texture of the skin. Reduce dark spots, pigmentation, and undereye blackness.
2. Body butter and body scrub are nutrient dense creams that hydrate your skin. Body butters are one of the absolute best ways to nourish your skin.
