Where women lead and business grows
At 31, Ndatila Iyambo, the founder of Tila’s Investment, is proving that business can be both successful and rooted in uplifting others, especially when women lead the way.Inside Tila’s Investment, women aren't just filling roles - they are setting the pace. The company makes sure women have a real voice at every level, from decision-making to day-to-day leadership. Outside the company walls, female entrepreneurs are given the space, tools and encouragement to build businesses of their own. “It’s about making sure women aren’t waiting for a chance; they’re building their own paths,” she said.
More than just a business
Tila’s Investment was never meant to be "just another company". It was born from a simple idea. "You can do good work and still leave things better than you found them," Tila said.
Over the years, the company that offers a wide range in various sectors has grown steadily by focusing on real relationships, consistent quality and staying true to its values even when the easy way would have been to cut corners.
Tila’s Investment was-established in the Erongo region in 2016, initially offering high-quality car wash services. Since then, the company has diversified into areas including building and road construction, plumbing, debushing, property development, security services and product supplies.
“There’s no secret to it,” she said. “You show up, you care and you stay focused on what matters.”
With multiple services under one roof, it’s easy for quality to slip unless you’re intentional about it. That’s why Tila’s Investment focuses on strong training, clear systems and honest conversations with customers. Feedback isn’t seen as criticism, it’s a tool for getting better.
Facing challenges head-on
Running a company with many branches isn’t easy. Different sectors come with different challenges, and markets can change without warning. But with a tight-knit team, smart use of technology and a hands-on leadership style, Tila’s Investment has stayed steady. “A good team can carry you through anything," she said.
At Tila’s investment, support doesn’t stop at paychecks. It’s about creating real chances for growth, offering flexible work when life demands it and treating people like they matter because they do. Women in particular are given the space to build careers without sacrificing family or personal goals. Listening to customers, earning their trust customers aren’t just buying a service, they’re putting their trust in the company. That’s why feedback is taken seriously, conversations are open, and changes are made when needed. "It’s simple, listen, learn and improve."
Celebrating women every day
Women’s Day may be marked on the calendar, but for Tila’s Investment, recognising women’s contributions happens all year long. From mentoring young business owners to sponsoring community initiatives, the company believes in standing behind women with real action and not just words.
The future for Tila’s Investment is bright. "More services, new markets and an even stronger footprint in the community. And as it grows, women will continue to be the ones steering the course, shaping new ideas, and making the important calls. We’re building a company where women aren’t just included they’re leading the charge,” Iyambo said.
Iyambo's advice to young women chasing their dreams? “Don’t wait for someone to pick you. Pick yourself. Start where you are, with what you have. Be curious, be tough and know that you don’t have to be perfect you just have to keep moving forward.”
