Hochobeb joins Letshego team

Letshego Holdings Namibia has appointed Kgomotso Hochobeb as its new Head of Internal Audit, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in auditing, risk management, and forensics.
Hochobeb will lead the internal audit function, providing strategic and technical oversight of operational controls and risk management. She will also drive the implementation of best practices and maintain a robust internal audit framework.
“It has always been one of my milestones to contribute to the success of a commercial bank, specifically Letshego Namibia, an organisation known for its commitment to innovation,” Hochobeb said.
Her career began at PwC and includes senior roles at NamPower, Bank of Namibia, MMI Holdings Namibia, NamPost, and most recently, Telecom Namibia. She is a member of both the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa and the Institute of Risk Management South Africa, and has served as Chairperson of the NAPOTEL Pension Fund, where she upheld strong governance and fiduciary standards.
Hochobeb holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting Science and a Certificate in Risk-Based Internal Auditing from the University of South Africa. She also completed her external audit articles under Namibia’s Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB).
