Luke lives his talent
The artist Luke Omang says the lack of opportunities to exhibit his artworks in established galleries has led him to showcase his works on a street corner in Liliencron Street in the capital."Artists are expected to live for our art and this is a challenge for many artists who cannot make a living from their art," he says.
Luke says he has been interested in artwork since childhood, after comics at school caught his attention.
"I have been interested in paintings and comics since school. I like to show the beauty of color and to use abstract emotion and create more expressive art," he says.
