Mobile planetarium on its way to Windhoek

The Africa Millimetre Telescope (AMT) team has brought a mobile planetarium to Namibia to inspire a future generation of Namibian scientists and engineers.
This mobile planetarium is an inflatable dome. Inside, interactive images of the night sky and the universe can be projected. One can look at the earth, the moon, the sun and planets, but also zoom out to see other stars, galaxies and other interesting phenomena.
Come and view it for yourself on Friday, 10 February from 17:00 to 19:00, and Saturday, 11 February at 11:00 at the Namibia Scientific Society.
Due to limited space, registration is necessary, which will take place on a first come first serve basis.
Reserve your space via www.namscience.com/event/the-universe or contact Elfie Schneider at [email protected] or 061 225 372.
