All for the babies
Two women combine their love of sport and vulnerable children on Sunday when they embark on the Cape Town Cycle Tour to raise money for All4TheBabies.Michelle Steenkamp and Rene Strauss, along with two other sportswomen, founded All4TheBabies to support and raise awareness of the Ruach Elohim Foundation in Swakopmund, a safe home for vulnerable children set up by Ronel Peters.
The four women collected around N$230 000 for the foundation in December and Rene and Michelle hope to surpass this amount on Sunday with the support of businesses and the public.
Before their departure to the Cape, Rene said that she also completed the popular cycling race in 2018 and on Sunday it will be the third time that Michelle is participating. However, this will be the first time that they will undertake the cycle race that stretches over 109 km through the most beautiful parts of the Mother City for charity and their "heart's cause".
People can sponsor Rene and Michelle per kilometer, while businesses are also encouraged to support All4TheBabies.
