Hit4Hope raises N$120 000 for educational empowerment

The 2025 Future Media and SanlamAllianz Hit4Hope Charity Golf Day, held at the Windhoek Golf & Country Club earlier this year, raised N$119 955.81 to support educational advancement in Namibia.
The funds will benefit LearnOnOne and Side by Side Early Intervention Centre, organisations making a tangible difference in the lives of young Namibians. Through spirited competition, generous auction participation, and community support, participants helped create brighter futures for countless learners.
SanlamAllianz’s partnership with Future Media reflects a shared vision where education, empowerment, and inclusion form the foundation of national progress. “Investing in education is investing in Namibia’s future,” says Tega Shiimi ya Shiimi, CEO of SanlamAllianz Investments. “The nearly N$120 000 raised represents our collective commitment to ensuring every child, regardless of circumstance, has access to quality education. Supporting LearnOnOne and Side by Side aligns perfectly with our strategic pillars of Health and Welfare, and Training and Development.”
Side by Side Early Intervention provides specialised support for children with disabilities, championing inclusion and unlocking potential. “These funds translate into expanded services and enhanced resources, helping more children discover their unique abilities,” Huipie van Wyk, Managing Director of Side by Side Early Intervention, said.
LearnOnOne Foundation revolutionises access to education through television and online platforms. “Hit4Hope allows us to fund Early Childhood Development content in Oshiwambo, boosting learner success from the foundation up,” says Rukee Kaakunga, Brand Manager for LearnOnOne.
“The success of Hit4Hope 2025 reflects Namibia’s generosity and community spirit,” notes Zellmari Brandt of Future Media. “Together with SanlamAllianz, our golfers, and sponsors, we’re not just supporting education, we’re investing in Namibia’s future.”
The event benefited from corporate sponsors including Metro, Fly Namibia, Galito’s, Butcher Block, Torga Optical, Capricorn Asset Management, ABInBev, Promobasket, Deep Catch, DZ Golf, Namib Mills, Delux Coffee, and WGCC, whose activations added energy and engagement throughout the day.
Looking ahead, Future Media and SanlamAllianz invite corporate teams, golf enthusiasts, and community champions to join the 2026 Hit4Hope Charity Golf Day, continuing to build a Namibia where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
