New lick of paint for SPCA's meet & greet area
There's a new lease of life at the SPCA Windhoek and it's not just the wagging tails!Several Windhoek-based companies have joined forces to spruce up the animal welfare organisation's meet and greet area.
The area was showing its age: the artificial turf was worn, the paint was fading, the trees were overgrown, and the play area was reduced to sand. It was clear that something needed to be done urgently.
The initiative was provided by the Charitree community initiative, and from then on, things moved quickly. A whole host of companies helped give the area a fresh, friendly look. Thanks to Charitree CSI/CSR, Buildwise, Be Local, Inesfly, Work4s, Lifestyle Laundrette, Adamsbier, and Omnia Financial Consulting, the area is now colourful, inviting, and animal-friendly.
Shades of purple and blue add colorful accents. Not just for the eye, but to create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.
The meet and greet area is more than just a playground. This is where many animals begin their new lives. Currently, numerous dogs and cats are waiting for a home. This area plays a key role in helping them find the right human family.
So, if you're thinking about adopting an animal, now would be a good time. Perhaps your new family member is already waiting for you.
