Some relief for Ella du Plessis
After a fire razed an entire hostel block of the Ella du Plessis Secondary School early on Wednesday morning, the Capricorn Foundation stepped in to help alleviate the fire's immediate aftermath, donating 100 mattresses for the girls and a bed for the matron, valued at N$45 000."I thank the Capricorn Foundation for calling me and showing sympathy to us. We are grateful that they care and provide hope in this difficult time. We urge other Namibians to do the same," said principal Jakavaza Kavari.
At the handover, Capricorn Foundation Coordinator Veripura Muukua said that the foundation has a solid track record of being a responsible corporate citizen, making a positive difference in the communities they serve. "We are grateful that we can contribute to this effort to create meaningful change and make a deep and lasting impact. The foundation urges other organisations to collaborate and support where possible."
