Every day is like Christmas
The Lions Club Alte Feste Windhoek's Advent calendar is available again after a break of three years, with which more than 100 prizes from between N$150 to more than N$8 000 can be won.The winner of the grand prize of N$15 000 in cash will be announced on 24 December.
Each of the 2 000 calendars has its own serial number and 24 windows, with a window that can be opened daily from 1 to 24 December. Behind each window is the name of a company and a prize that can be won.
A draw for the winning numbers takes place daily and will be published every day in the Allgemeine Zeitung, on NBC Funkhaus Namibia, Hitradio Namibia and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/LionsAlteFeste), as well as on the Lions Alte Feste website at www.lionsaltefeste.com.
The winners can contact the sponsor directly. The names and contact numbers appear on the back of the calendar.
The calendar can be bought for N$100 per copy at the Windhoeker Buchhandlung, as well as at Marin's Lädchen in Omaruru and in Swakopmund from Otto Günther.
Lions members are also selling the calendar in front of SuperSpar at the Maerua Lifestyle shopping center and in front of Woermann Brock at Ai//Gams in Klein Windhoek every Saturday between 08:00 and 12:00 until the end of November.
The money collected will be used for the benefit of eight local organisations, which support children with cancer, neglected young people, diabetics and the visually impaired, among others.
