Huge kiddy Christmas smiles

During Side by Side Early Intervention Centre's annual Christmas party, Round Table 34 Windhoek came on board to brighten 84 children's festive season and put smiles on their faces with a gift.
According to Side by Side's managing director, Huipie van Wyk, they worked hard to make a positive impact on the lives of children living with disabilities. The centre's Christmas party serves as proof of their commitment to creating a nurturing environment where every child can feel special and their achievements are recognised.
"The success of the Christmas party would not have been possible without the generous sponsorships and support of the community," she said, adding that the party provides an opportunity for families to come together, share in the joy of the season and show gratitude for the assistance received throughout the year.
"The sense of community togetherness reflects the belief that collective efforts can make a significant difference in these children's lives."
Round Table 34 Windhoek got on board with their annual Joyful Hearts initiative.
According to the project leader, Riaan Stadler, a Christmas tree was erected in the Maerua Mall shopping centre, where individuals could take a name card and buy a gift for a specific child.
"This year we had more than 800 children from ten beneficiaries and my heart is filled with to see how we all worked together to give back," he said.
He says the aim is not just to donate material items, but to establish a sense of love and belonging in these children's hearts.
This initiative also forms part of the Give Hope charity project, under the Smell the Coffee brand of Namibia Media Holdings.
