AC Boxing Promotions will host a boxing tournament of top-class entertainment tomorrow evening at the Roman Catholic hall in Windhoek, to raise money for its boxers.
This is AC's first tournament for 2024, with seven fights on the card. NTV’s live broadcast (also available online at https://oneuptwo.com/) will start from 19:00.
Before the main pre-fight between Walter Kautondokwa and Simeon Shafodino, Shaiyah will perform. King Tee Dee will also deliver a performance before Flame Nangolo and Jeremiah Mhere approach the ring for the main fight.
Tickets cost N$200, or a table for ten VIPs with meals and drinks goes for N$10 000.
Promoter Imms Moses of AC Boxing says viewers and spectators are in for an exceptional evening of boxing performances and entertainment.
Ruan Rispel (23) is an up-and-coming boxer, unbeaten after six fights, with two knockouts. Rispel, as always, will put his best foot forward. He can take a punch and hand out even more, but Paulus Iipinge is not going to make it easy for him.
The popular draw-card Walter “The Executioner” Kautondokwa, who last boxed in October 2019, will be in action again. Kautondokwa was the IBF and WBO's African middleweight champion and a world title contender in 2018, losing on points to Demetrius Andrade of the USA for the vacant WBO belt.
The 22-year-old Flame Nangolo (10-0, 2 KOs) is more known as a scientific boxer than a fighter. He will face his first professional opponent from outside Namibia. Jeremiah Mhere (10-4, 2 KOs) of Zimbabwe could provide a solid test.
