Schoemans Group Windhoek Gymnasium on Saturday beat Dr Lemmer 50-7 in Rehoboth during the Schools Rugby Super League.
They now sit at the top of the table, while Dr Lemmer are at the bottom of the league.
With a few changes made to the Windhoek Gymnasium team, captain Janneman Brand started on the bench but eventually got on to the field to play.
"The game was really tough. I’m proud of how the boys played. Regardless of the win, we now go back to the drawing board and prepare for the next game."
Dr Lemmer have had a rough start to the league, losing all league matches so far, but Edward Drotsky, who captains the team, believes they can turn the tide after he scored a try in a game that looked impossible to score in.
"We are working hard and we know it will pay off soon."
In other games, Samsung Windhoek High School hosted PSG Walvis Bay Private High School and won the game 31-30.
OK Foods Moria got back to winning, beating PSG Pro-Ed Academy 24-12.
The Super League continues on Saturday with more exciting games.
