Momentum Kids Golf Series heads into final stretch
The Momentum Kids Golf Series 2026 is heading into its final stretch, with six rounds completed and two events remaining in September and October.
Supported by Momentum and delivered in partnership with DSA, the series continues to provide Namibia’s young golfers with regular competitive experience and an opportunity to develop their skills.
Caleb Volschenk produced the standout performance in the August round, scoring 37 to claim the Overall Winner title. His performance also strengthened his position at the top of the U/15 Boys Order of Merit with 14 points.
Robert Bravenboer leads the U/9 Boys division with 17.5 points, the highest total across the current standings. Wouter Smith leads the U/19 Boys with 15.5 points, while Jean Husselmann is close behind on 15.
Hanru Botes tops the U/11 Boys standings with 15 points, while Paul Kapia leads the U/13 Boys with 14 points. In the girls’ divisions, Manoela Gustavo leads the U/9 Girls, Imari Bravenboer tops the U/11 Girls, and Zahnri Delport leads both the U/13 and U/15 Girls standings.
August Round Results
The August division winners were AJ van Wyk in U/19 Boys with 43, Francois van Zyl in U/15 Boys with 42, Zahnri Delport in U/15 Girls with 57, Paul Kapia in U/13 Boys with 47 and Mikaela Eiseb in U/13 Girls with 59.
In the younger categories, Keanu du Preez won the U/11 Boys with 49, Liuyiduo Lu the U/11 Girls with 51, Robert Bravenboer the U/9 Boys with 44 and Manoela Gustavo the U/9 Girls with 57.
With two rounds remaining, the Order of Merit battles remain open, with players looking to collect valuable points before the season concludes.
The Momentum Kids Golf Series continues to provide an important platform for junior golfers to gain tournament experience, build confidence and develop their competitive skills.
