Ngesheya looks to overcome Vietnamese veteran

AC Boxing Promotion has announced the first international boxing fight of their lightweight boxer Hafeni Ngesheya.
According to his Boxrec page, Ngesheya turned professional in May 2021 and currently has an unbeaten record of six wins, of which three were attained by knockout.
The 26-year-old Namibian will step into the ring against Nguyen Van Hai, a 35-year-old veteran from Vietnam (pro record 6 wins, three knockouts, one loss on points) who has the nickname "The Hanoi Hitman".
Their fight is scheduled for six rounds on Saturday 30 March at Maun in Botswana.
The highly anticipated international event is themed “Africa vs Asia”. A number of boxers from Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam will be on the card against African opponents.
AC Boxing founder Imms Moses has expressed excitement about the prospects of Ngesheya, who has the fight name "The Mexican".
According to reporting, former American heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990, is expected to be in attendance at the event in Maun.
