Ultimate rugby official handover
Rehoboth Rugby Club player Dihlen Daries and his wife received their flight tickets and accommodation packages from Rennies Travel earlier this week, ahead of their trip to Cape Town to watch the showdown between South Africa’s Springboks and New Zealand's All Blacks today.
Daries secured the all-expenses-paid trip for two after winning the Sport Wrap Ultimate Rugby Experience competition, a two-month prediction campaign run alongside the NRU Premier League season.
Organised by Sport Wrap in partnership with Synergy Marketing, First National Bank (FNB) Namibia and Rennies Travel, the initiative aimed to boost domestic rugby supporter engagement.
Daries emerged victorious among three finalists during last week’s grand finale envelope draw after consistently predicting match margins throughout the season.
The couple now prepares to travel to South Africa to experience one of international rugby's most iconic rivalries live from the stands.
