Balls set to fly

The fourth fistball tournament of the 2025 season is set to take place this Saturday in Swakopmund, with 14 teams competing across three action-packed categories. The first matches kick off at 08:30.
Youth action: U/18 Category
In the U/18 division, five teams will battle it out for top honours. SKW and SFC are each fielding two teams, while CFC is entering one. Defending champions SFC A will be looking to hold on to their title, but with tough competition expected, the pressure is on.
Top Tier Tension: A Category
In the premier category, four teams are ready to clash: hosts SFC and SKW will face off against CFC 1 and CFC 2.
CFC 1 enters as the team to beat, having won all three previous tournaments as well as the season opener. CFC 2 made it to the final just three weeks ago and are aiming for another strong showing.
The home team, SFC, will unfortunately be without two of their starting players, which could affect their chances. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see how record-holders SKW 1 bounce back, after finishing last in the previous two events.
Competitive Mix: B Category
Five teams will compete in the B Category. SKW 3 are the clear favourites, having won the last two tournaments. They’ll be up against SKW 2, CFC 2, SFC 2, and SFC.
On Sunday, an extended training session will be held for women, U/18 boys, and the men’s squads.
