Dramatic final crowns SFC 1 at season opener
The highlight of the day came in the A League final, where SFC 1 faced long-time rivals CFC 1. After narrowly losing several finals to CFC 1 over the past year, SFC 1 turned the tables in dramatic fashion.
The preliminary round ended with SFC 1, CFC 1 and SKW 1 level on points. SFC 1 advanced directly to the final thanks to a superior match-point difference. In the semi-final, CFC 1 edged SKW 1 in another tight encounter to book their place in the decider.
CFC 1 made a strong start in the final, comfortably taking the first set 11–5. SFC 1 responded with equal determination, winning the second set 11–4. The decisive third set proved a tense affair, but SFC 1 held their nerve to seal an 11–8 victory and claim the title.

In the B League final, SKW 3 defeated SFC 2 in straight sets. SKW 3 took the opening set 11–8 before edging a closely fought second set 12–10 to secure a 2–0 win and the championship.

- SKW 4
- Damen Kader
Young players also impressed in the junior divisions. In the u/12 category, SKW 2 finished ahead of SKW 1 and CFC. SKW 1 claimed top spot in the Under-15 division, followed by SKW 2.
Individual performances were recognised across the age groups. Marco von Flotow was named player of the day in the u/13 category, while Oliver Rohlf received the award in the u/15 division. In the senior category, Alexander von Wietersheim was honoured for his outstanding performance.
The opening tournament once again highlighted the depth of talent and competitiveness of Namibian fistball across all age groups.
