Kaukungwa wins first qualifier title
Mandume “Vasilias” Kaukungwa took first place in last weekend’s Namibian National Esports Qualifiers in preparation for the World Esports Championships.Hot on his heels were Tommy “King Ikela” Ikela and Luka “El_Vasquinho” Bauleth, who took second and third spots respectively.
Their victories came after five hours of intense competition, with the e-athletes showcasing skill, strategy, and sportsmanship at the MTC Innovation Centre at the NUST HTTPS Building.
Looking ahead, the journey continues with the second qualifier set for this Saturday at the same venue, from where the top eight e-athletes will advance to face off at the Namibian National Qualifier Finals for the eFootball™ series.
The chosen national e-athlete will carry the flag in representation of Namibia on the international scene.
